Grilled Treviso with Smoky Onion Chili Relish

4 heads Treviso cut into 1/2 lengthwise
1 large red onion cut into 3″ thick slices
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste
1/4 cut olive oil
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic
1 tablespoon fresh chopped chilies of your choice

Rub Treviso and onions with oil, salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Over a medium-hot grill cook Treviso 2-3 minutes per side until slightly charred.

Cook Onions on the fire until golden brown 3-4 minutes per side. Remove onions and chop into small dice and mix with oil, vinegar and chilies. Put this mixed on top of the grilled Treviso.
